Lead Time and Shipping

Lead Time

We make all of our products to order.  The current lead time is 12-14 weeks for lighting and 14-16 weeks for furniture, worldwide.  We wire our lights according to the location requirements.

Shipping

Snelling ships worldwide.

On acceptance of an order, we may confirm the period of shipment or delivery. This is subject to change depending on your destination and any circumstances that are out of the control of Snelling.

Snelling and our freight partners accept no liability for any loss or damage if you give authority for the courier to leave the Goods with a third party or left unattended (location nominated by you).

We reserve the right to charge additional costs for unusual access not advised in writing and if the nominated site is not ready to accept the Goods on the date agreed upon. If you fail to provide us with any appropriate instructions, documents, licences or authorisations for the delivery to be completed, we reserve the right to Invoice you all additional costs that this may incur.

For international deliveries, Snelling takes no responsibility for any taxes or duties incurred once the Goods leave the hands of Snelling. Shipment and delivery operates between business hours 9am - 5pm from Monday through to Friday and does not include public holidays.

AUSTRALIA: Please note, there is no GST on our quotes/invoices. We do not charge or collect GST on any orders outside of NZ. GST is invoiced separately by the shipping company, along with a customs entry processing fee, once your order has arrived into Australia. They will send an email / text with a payment link. Payment must be made within 5 business days or the shipment will be returned. Please contact us at info@snellingstudio.com with any questions or concerns should they arise.

Typical charges are as follows:
Duty: $0
GST: 10% of total value
Customs Processing: ≈ $115 for goods valued up to $10k; $225 for over $10k

AQIS (Australian Quarantine Inspection Services) for timber items: ≈ $130

Inspection of all Goods is required upon delivery.  Notification of any damages, shortages or inconsistencies with the original order must be made in writing to your sales representative or to info@snellingstudio.com within three business days of receiving the Goods and prior to installation.  If damage has occurred in shipping all packaging must be retained by the receiver.  Damages and shortages will be dealt with on a case by case basis.

All Online Orders are handled through info@snellingstudio.com. Should any issues arise please contact us at this email address. As soon as you place an order with Snelling you will receive an email confirmation. Please contact the email above should you not receive this within 48 hours. All online orders are expected to arrive within 8-10 weeks from order confirmation.
